YYForce Plans First Humanoid Robot Deployment In Singapore

27/10/2026 06:18 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 (Bernama) -- YYForce Inc (YYForce), a technology-enabled provider of workforce solutions, integrated facility management and robotics services, has welcomed Tesla Inc’s announcement that production of its Optimus humanoid robot has begun in Fremont, California.

YYForce said the development marked progress for the broader physical artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem as humanoid robotics advances towards real-world applications. Tesla described its Optimus manufacturing operations in California as being in an early ramp-up phase, with hardware and manufacturing processes continuing to evolve.

Against this backdrop, YYForce plans to deploy its first humanoid robot at Novotel Singapore on Stevens in early November 2026 to evaluate the technology’s potential applications in hospitality operations.

The initial phase will involve on-site testing, workflow assessment and evaluation of human-robot collaboration. It will also help the company assess suitable hospitality applications, integration requirements, staff training needs and operational performance.

“Our first planned humanoid deployment at Novotel Singapore on Stevens represents a concrete step in our physical AI strategy.

“We aim to understand where humanoid robots can perform reliably, how they can support employees, and what is required to deliver measurable value to hospitality customers,” said YYForce Chief Executive Officer, Mike Fu in a statement.

The scope and pace of deployment will depend on technical readiness, site requirements and the results of the initial evaluation. YYForce intends to use the findings to guide further development and potential expansion.

The company believes advances in humanoid robotics could create opportunities in systems integration, task training, deployment support, maintenance and ongoing robotics services.

YYForce’s strategy combines its workforce and facility management experience with developing robotics capabilities to support enterprise adoption, including assessing how robots can work alongside people and fit into existing customer workflows.

The planned Novotel deployment is a separate YYForce initiative and does not involve any announced partnership, supply agreement or endorsement by Tesla. YYForce has also not indicated that the robot planned for deployment is a Tesla Optimus.
