JPA’s 2026 Dermasiswa B40 Results Available For Checking

PUTRAJAYA, Oct 14 (Bernama) -- The results of the 2026 Dermasiswa B40 (DB40) Programme can be checked via the Public Service Department (JPA) sponsorship portal at https://penajaan.jpa.gov.my.

In a statement today, JPA said applicants could check their results from 5 pm yesterday (Oct 13) until 5 pm on Oct 22.

For 2026, JPA has offered 8,054 sponsorship slots to 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) school leavers from low-income families to pursue diploma studies at local higher education institutions.

The sponsorship covers studies at selected public universities, polytechnics, MARA TVET institutions and public skills training institutions (ILKA).

The fields of study covered at public universities and polytechnics include engineering and technical/technology fields, science, social sciences/arts and architecture. At MARA TVET institutions and ILKAs, the sponsorship covers diploma programmes in technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

“The focus is on fields with high employability prospects to support efforts to produce knowledgeable and skilled graduates who can meet industry needs.

“These education and training opportunities also pave the way for students to improve their standard of living and contribute to national development,” JPA said.

Introduced in 2016, DB40 is a government bursary initiative to help students from B40 families continue their studies.

“This support aims to ease the financial burden on students and their families, thereby enabling them to focus on learning and skills development,” JPA said.

JPA said candidate selection was based on academic achievement, socioeconomic background, and compliance with eligibility requirements and designated fields of study.

“This targeted approach ensures that sponsorships are given to eligible students who require financial support to further their studies. JPA congratulates all successful candidates who received the 2026 DB40 sponsorship offer,” it said.

Applicants are reminded to check their results via the JPA sponsorship portal before 5 pm on Oct 22.

JPA said it remained committed to expanding access to higher education through inclusive and targeted sponsorship, in line with the government’s aspirations to develop human capital and improve the people’s well-being.
