Boomi, Jade Global Expand Partnership For AI In Manufacturing

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 (Bernama) -- Boomi, a data activation company for artificial intelligence (AI), and Jade Global, a technology services provider, have expanded their partnership to help manufacturers deploy AI agents in production operations with greater data integrity, governance and control.

Under the expanded partnership, Jade Global will deliver manufacturing-specific solutions built on the Boomi Enterprise Platform, combining data integration capabilities with tools to manage, monitor and govern AI agents across production operations and supply chains.

Manufacturers often rely on operational data spread across enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing execution systems (MES), product lifecycle management (PLM), quality management and supplier systems. The company said a trusted, traceable data foundation was essential to deploying AI agents in production environments.

Boomi Senior Vice-President of Global Alliances and Channels, Dan McAllister said manufacturers needed to ensure AI agents could be monitored, their data trusted and their actions accounted for when used in production environments.

Meanwhile, Jade Global Chief Technology and Strategy Officer, Arun Menon said the partnership would help manufacturers modernise legacy integration systems and move agentic AI from pilot projects into production, with greater traceability and accountability.

In a statement, Boomi said it will provide data integration capabilities and its Agent Control Plane to manage AI agents throughout their lifecycle, including policy enforcement, monitoring and audit trails.

Jade Global will contribute its Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing Framework and expertise in manufacturing integration, data management and business-to-business electronic data interchange (B2B/EDI). The companies have worked together since 2017, with Jade Global achieving Platinum Implementation Partner status in 2019.

The solutions are designed to help manufacturers synchronise operational data, enforce governance over AI agent actions and require human approval for higher-risk activities, such as modifying purchase orders or releasing production holds.

They will also support deployments across local facilities, regional infrastructure and cloud environments to address plant latency, data residency and data sovereignty requirements.

The expanded offering is available through Jade Global. Boomi said its Enterprise Platform serves more than 30,000 customers.
