KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- YYForce Inc (YYForce), a technology-enabled workforce solutions and integrated facility management company, has opened its Robotics Training, Data and Experience Center in Singapore to support humanoid robot training, operational data collection, workflow testing and customer demonstrations.
The centre will focus on robotics applications across hospitality, cleaning, security, delivery and facility management, drawing on YYForce’s existing workforce and facility management operations to evaluate practical customer applications.
YYForce Chief Executive Officer, Mike Fu said the centre provides a dedicated environment to train humanoid robots, collect operational data and evaluate service robots before customer deployment, while the company assesses each application against performance and cost requirements.
In a statement, YYForce said the facility will also support its evaluation of Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS), robot leasing and managed robotic services as potential sources of recurring revenue.
The centre features simulated service environments for training and evaluating humanoid robots in selected hotel housekeeping, restroom cleaning, banqueting and hospitality support workflows, as well as testing collaboration between human workers and robotic systems.
Through repeated training and testing, the company is collecting operational data on navigation, movement, object interaction, task execution and environmental conditions. YYForce said these activities are intended to evaluate robotic performance and adapt workflows to specific service environments, rather than establish that humanoid robots can currently perform such duties fully autonomously.
The facility also showcases commercial cleaning robots, food and item delivery robots, autonomous security and surveillance robots, swimming pool cleaning robots and other specialised systems. A live Security Command Centre demonstrates the integration of robotic patrol capabilities, surveillance systems, sensors, cameras and centralised monitoring.
YYForce said the centre is expected to support a commercialisation pathway from training and data collection to workflow testing, customer demonstrations, proofs of concept and, where viable, commercial deployment across hotels, commercial buildings, residential developments, retail premises and warehouses.
The company is evaluating commercial arrangements that could combine robot access with deployment support, maintenance, monitoring and human services. Potential RaaS and leasing models would allow customers to access robotics through recurring arrangements without necessarily purchasing the hardware outright.
YYForce said the centre supports its 2030 vision of becoming a Future Workforce Solutions Provider by integrating human talent, artificial intelligence, humanoid robots and specialised autonomous robots, with human workers continuing to perform tasks requiring judgement, communication and flexibility.
