483 SPM Candidates In Perlis Benefit From i-TRIPs Programme

KANGAR, Oct 6 (Bernama) -- Some 483 candidates from 26 schools in Perlis are benefiting from a two-phase i-TRIPs programme aimed at strengthening their preparation for the 2026 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.

Faizuddin Centre of Educational Excellence (FCoEE) Executive Chairman Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr Kamarudin Hussin said 243 students from seven selected schools were taking part in Phase 1 of the programme, which is being held from yesterday until Saturday (Oct 10).

He said another 240 students from 19 daily schools would take part in Phase 2 of the programme from Oct 12 to 17.

“The programme focuses on strengthening academic performance, providing targeted training, analysing student performance and boosting students' confidence ahead of the SPM,” he said in a statement today.

The statement was issued in conjunction with the launch of the i-TRIPs SPM 2026 programme, officiated by Perlis State Education director Ishak Awang at the Perlis State Education Department (JPN) here today.

Kamarudin said the programme was a collaboration between FCoEE and the Perlis State Education Department (JPN Perlis), with support from a wakalah contribution by the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN).

He said the support provided would help students make the most of the remaining preparation period and strive for excellent results.

“FCoEE extends its appreciation to PTPTN for the wakalah contribution, as well as to JPN Perlis, the teachers and all parties involved in making this initiative a success,” he said.
