1. INDONESIAN POLICE ARREST 12 SUSPECTED TERRORISTS ACROSS SIX PROVINCES -- ANTARA

Indonesia's National Police, through its counterterrorism force Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88), have arrested 12 individuals suspected of links to terrorist networks in a series of operations carried out across six provinces since Oct 2.

 

2. MAGNITUDE 6.1 QUAKE HITS SUMBA ISLAND, NO TSUNAMI POTENTIAL -- ANTARA

 A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck off Southwest Sumba District in East Nusa Tenggara Province on Sunday morning, with officials confirming no threat of a tsunami.

Vietnam ranked 52nd among 110 economies in the World Economic Forum’s 2026 Travel and Tourism Development Index. Within Southeast Asia, Vietnam ranked fifth, after Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
