AKPK Celebrates 20th Anniversary, Strengthens Strategic Partnerships

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3 (Bernama) -- The Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK) marked its 20th anniversary by launching the “Rencah Kita Pelbagai Rasa, Satu Makna” programme, aimed at strengthening ties with its strategic partners.

AKPK chief executive officer Azman Hasim said the cooking challenge, organised in collaboration with M Resort & Hotel, brought together 30 agencies and aimed to foster closer relationships, trust and teamwork.

“The most important outcome today is not simply determining which dish emerges as the winner, but the relationships and memories we build together throughout this challenge,” he said at the programme here today.

He said cooking was similar to teamwork, requiring different ingredients, backgrounds and expertise to be brought together towards a common goal of providing the best possible services to Malaysians.

“Each of us contributes our respective expertise in serving the country alongside AKPK. Everyone may have their own views, but our presence today shows that we share a common goal of serving the Malaysian community,” he said.

Azman said the annual event, which features different activities and concepts each year, also served as an opportunity to appreciate the continued support of various parties and provide momentum for AKPK to move forward.

Among AKPK’s strategic partners taking part in the programme were Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank), CIMB Bank Berhad (CIMB), Public Bank Bhd, Hong Leong Bank Bhd and AmBank (M) Bhd.
