Toluna Unveils AI-Native Research Workspace With Dynamic Awareness

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- Toluna, a global insights leader, has unveiled Toluna Bina, an artificial intelligence (AI)-native, always-on research workspace that turns questions, hunches, or raw ideas into fact-based direction in minutes.

Alongside Toluna Bina, Toluna in a statement said it also introduced Dynamic Awareness, a new capability that keeps their synthetic personas current with the real world.

Toluna Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Frederic-Charles Petit said the company brings together 25 years of first-party human data, AI capabilities and expertise in consumer behaviour research.

“And with Dynamic Awareness our personas are learning at human speed: receiving and filtering daily updates of general news through their own lenses like real people do. That combination becomes our clients’ advantage: faster, more confident and nuanced decisions,” added Petit.

Toluna Bina brings research into business decisions at every stage, working in a continuous loop with Toluna Start and putting research within reach of the wider business, not only trained researchers.

The platform enables marketing teams to choose the strongest advertisement before committing media budgets, product teams to pressure-test concepts before adding them to the roadmap, and innovation teams to screen ideas before making larger investments.

Toluna said research best practices are embedded in the workflow, allowing teams to obtain early, low-cost insights that can help de-risk decisions and save time and money before larger spending.

Dozens of clients worldwide have been piloting Toluna Bina over the past several months across fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), financial services, ecommerce, and consumer health.

Toluna Bina runs on an agentic system that builds audiences in real time. Each audience comprises Toluna Synthetic Personas grounded in 25 years of the company’s first-party data, including billions of human survey responses from hundreds of millions of panellists.

According to Toluna, across more than 3,000 tests in 20 markets, results from the synthetic personas highly matched those from real humans. Toluna Bina is scheduled to begin rolling out in mid-October.
