PUTRAJAYA, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- Several foreign leaders, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing, are expected to visit Malaysia this October, said MADANI Government spokesman Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil.
The Communications Minister said El-Sisi is expected to arrive next Friday (Oct 9), while several other foreign leaders will also visit Malaysia.
“There are several foreign leaders scheduled to make visits, including at this time, to Malaysia either as official, working or state visits.
“This includes the Myanmar President, who will hold discussions with the Prime Minister, as well as the Egyptian President, who is expected to arrive next Friday after the tabling of the Budget,” he told a post-Cabinet meeting press conference here today.
Fahmi said detailed information on the arrival and visit schedules would be issued by the Prime Minister’s Department, Prime Minister’s Office or Wisma Putra.
Earlier, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim confirmed that the Egyptian President would make an official visit to Malaysia this October.
