TOKYO, Sept 29 (Bernama-Kyodo) -- Typhoon Surigae was located south of Japan and could approach the Kanto region including Tokyo on Thursday, the weather agency said, Kyodo News reported.
As the forecast path remains highly uncertain, the Japan Meteorological Agency urged the public Tuesday to monitor the latest weather information.
As of 6 a.m. Tuesday, the season's 26th typhoon was moving east-northeast at 15 kilometres per hour.
