Malam Semarak Daulat Strengthens Unity, Bond Between Ruler and People

KOTA BHARU, Sept 25 (Bernama) -- The Malam Semarak Daulat event, held here tonight to celebrate the 57th birthday of the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V, brought together the motoring community and served as a platform to strengthen unity and the close bond between the Ruler and the people.

Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud said the event reflected the spirit of brotherhood and togetherness among the community, thereby reinforcing national unity.

He said the occasion also showed the close relationship between the Ruler and the people, who complement each other through the populace's love, respect, and loyalty and the Ruler's concern for their well-being.

"The Kelantan government remains committed to supporting and enhancing efforts that foster togetherness, preserve well-being, and strengthen unity among the public," he said at the event held at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here tonight.

He added that such efforts are implemented through approaches involving all parties, including youths, local communities, civil society organisations, and relevant agencies.

Tengku Mahkota Kelantan, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra, graced the event.

Earlier, His Highness led a convoy of about 3,000 high-powered motorcycles from the Wings Motor Gangs Society and other motorcycle clubs, which arrived at the stadium grounds at 10.10 pm.

Tengku Muhammad Fakhry also revved the throttle of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle three times, which was echoed simultaneously by other riders.

The event was further enlivened with various traditional Kelantan cultural performances, including dikir barat, folk songs, and the rebana kercing dance.

Also adding to the festivities were the Tarian Tualang Tiga and Tarian Daulat Tuanku performances, a brass band and colour guard display, performances by renowned national artistes, and a fireworks display.
