ISTANBUL, Sept 25 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- US President Donald Trump said Friday that he had a “very productive” meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, adding that “tremendous things will be happening,” Anadolu Ajansi reported.
“Very productive meeting with President Xi for both the U.S.A. and China. Tremendous things will be happening,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
“Like almost everyone else, he seemed to like calling the poorly and inaccurately named Artificial Intelligence a far more accurate and important name, SUPER INTELLIGENCE. That would be ‘SUPER!’ Everyone last night agreed, also,” he added.
Xi has been on a three-day state visit to the US since Wednesday -- his second since 2015.
On Thursday, Trump and Xi held talks and attended a state dinner. Trump said the two countries have “never gotten along better,” while acknowledging that they “represent different systems.”
Xi said the leaders held “sincere and in-depth exchanges” and reached a common understanding on several issues, adding that the discussions provided “new strategic guidance” for China-US relations.
Ahead of his talks with Xi, Trump said the decisions the two leaders made that day on pressing issues concerning security, technology and super intelligence “can promote peace and prosperity for decades and decades to come.”
