Free Motorcycle Servicing At Perlis MADANI Kita Programme This Saturday

KANGAR, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- Free motorcycle servicing is among the interesting activities offered to visitors at the Perlis-level MADANI Kita Programme (PMK) 2026, which will be held at Dewan Warisan here this Saturday (Sept 26).

Perlis Information director Aidatul Shima Che Hassan said visitors could have their motorcycle engine oil changed for free at the programme, which will be conducted by the state’s GiatMARA.

“In addition, the Perlis Road Transport Department (JPJ) will provide 500 helmets free of charge to visitors, comprising 400 for adults and 100 for children, as well as road safety exhibitions and advocacy activities,” she said in a statement today.

Aidatul Shima said visitors could also undergo free health screenings and dental check-ups at the programme, as well as purchase essential goods at lower prices through MADANI Rahmah Sales and Agro MADANI Sales.

She said the Home Ministry Perlis office would also offer visitors the opportunity to exchange old copies of the Quran for new ones, while the state Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) would hold a career exhibition.

“I would like to invite the public to attend and enliven PMK 2026 with their families and friends from 7 am to 6 pm,” she said, adding that PMK was a MADANI Government initiative that brought government services closer to the people, in line with efforts to reform the public service.

She added that the programme aimed to ensure that the people not only understood government policies and initiatives but also benefited from the services provided, while serving as a platform to connect the government with the people and facilitate their dealings.
