KUALA LUMPUR, 22 Sept (Bernama) — The Malaysian Business Empowerment Council (MPPM) signed an MoU with the Assembly of Economy of Uzbekistan to open new business opportunities for Malaysian companies and professionals in Uzbekistan.
The MoU was signed at the World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, by MPPM President Prof. Is. Dr. Zam @ Ab. Razak Zamri and Ms. Gulrukh Radjabova, Director of International Cooperation of the Assembly of Economy of Uzbekistan.
Key Focus Areas:
- Trade & Business: Business matching, market exploration, joint trade missions and business forums
- Investment: Collaboration in infrastructure, urban development and smart cities
- Halal Industry: Cooperation on halal trade, halal parks and expertise
- Other Sectors: Education (student mobility & linkages), Islamic finance, and tourism & cultural exchange
The cooperation will also include establishing permanent offices in both countries for ongoing coordination. The Assembly has appointed *Dr. Ali Sher Mohamad, PhD,* as its Advisor and Country Representative in Malaysia.
Through this partnership, MPPM aims to turn international engagement into practical opportunities for its members.
