Ahmad Tea Celebrates 40 Years of Family Heritage and Tea Craftsmanship

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 17 (Bernama) -- British tea company, Ahmad Tea marked its 40th anniversary with a Ruby Jubilee celebration in Malaysia, commemorating four decades of family heritage and tea craftsmanship while unveiling its latest Sencha offering.

In a statement, Ahmad Tea said the family-owned company had also announced Premier League footballer Antoine Semenyo as its Global Brand Ambassador as part of its global ‘Preparation Is Everything’ campaign, which highlights preparation, discipline and consistency in achieving excellence.

Founded in Southampton, England, in 1986 by Rahim Afshar and his brothers, Ahmad Tea began as a small family tea shop built on the principle that quality should never be compromised and that every product should be worthy of being served in the family home.

“Through discerning tea selection, masterful blending and an uncompromising commitment to quality, Ahmad Tea has developed an extensive portfolio encompassing classic British black teas, refined herbal infusions and contemporary tea varieties. This breadth reflects both the company’s heritage and the evolving tastes of tea drinkers around the world.

“The Sencha launch similarly represents Ahmad Tea’s continued evolution, bringing its tea-blending expertise to a new expression of tea while embracing the diverse traditions and preferences of today’s tea drinkers,” it said.

The Ruby Jubilee celebration in Malaysia featured a 40-Year Heritage Wall, curated tea-tasting sessions and a showcase of the company’s tea portfolio.

As it enters its fifth decade, Ahmad Tea said it remains committed to evolving with consumers while preserving the principles that have guided the family business since its establishment.
