Russia-Malaysia Drills Held At New Training Ground For Firefighters, Rescuers In Kazan

MOSCOW, Sept 5 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- Joint Russian-Malaysian emergency response exercises were held on Friday in Kazan at a new training ground for firefighters and rescue personnel, Russia’s Emergencies Ministry told RIA Novosti.

The ministry said that the drills were held as part of the 16th international exhibition on integrated safety and security.

The forum is being held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre from September 3 to 5.

Over 300 enterprises and organisations from more than 30 countries are expected to attend.

The exhibition programme includes some 20 business events and 25 demonstration activities.
