SERDANG, Sept 2 (Bernama) – The Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah today graced the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism (MAHA) Exhibition 2026 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) here.
Raja Permaisuri of Perak Tuanku Zara Salim and Raja Kecil Besar Raja Azlan Muzzaffar Shah also accompanied him on the visit.
Sultan Nazrin's arrival at 10.45 am was received by Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad and Perak State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, as well as Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security secretary-general Datuk Seri Isham Ishak.
Sultan Nazrin, Tuanku Zara and Raja Azlan visited several booths at the Perak Pavilion, which showcased various products from the state.
Their Royal Highnesses also mingled with several exhibitors and entrepreneurs at the site, in addition to visiting the Laman Padi (padi pavilion) and Laman Herba (herb pavilion).
The 101st edition of MAHA is being held for 10 days from Aug 28 to Sept 6.
The biennial event is the country's main agricultural sector platform, bringing together industry players, government agencies, entrepreneurs, as well as research and higher education institutions to highlight innovation, technology and business opportunities in the agrifood sector.
