Venezuela’s Main Airport Resumes Flights Through Temporary Terminals

MAIQUETIA, (Venezuela) Sept 2  (Bernama-Anadolu) -- Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetia, Venezuela resumed commercial operations on Sept. 1, Anadolu Ajansi reported.

Temporary terminals were used after flights were suspended due to structural damage caused by twin earthquakes on June 24,  Anadolu Ajansi reported.

Authorities said 11 airlines are operating from the temporary facilities, which will remain in use while repair and infrastructure work continues to restore the airport complex to full capacity.
