Politeknik Malaysia's Muhammad Airiel Iskandar Rusli (10.63s) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)'s Ahmad Amir Aiman Mohd Kamar (10.65s) took silver and bronze respectively.
"Alhamdulillah, I'm glad that I broke the meet record in the heats yesterday and improved on it in the final today,” said Danish Iftikhar.
The 19-year-old Malaysia Games (SUKMA) sprint king will now turn his attention to the Oman Athletics Grand Prix, which begins on Saturday (Sept 5), before heading for the Sept 19-Oct 4 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
Fatin Ilyana, meanwhile, set a new personal best time of 11.93s en route to winning the women's 100m gold medal, leaving Nurul Wardatul Huwaida Mohd Hamka (12.13s) and Nur Izzati Eliana Suhaidi (12.23s) to settle for silver and bronze respectively.
"I am proud of myself for having set a new personal best as I had targeted doing just that,” said Fatin Ilyana, whose previous personal best of 11.96s was set in 2022.
