SERDANG, Aug 31 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (KUSKOP) is targeting RM500,000 in sales at its HPMKUSKOP@MAHA 2026 site during the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Show (MAHA) 2026.
Minister Steven Sim said the site, making its debut at the biennial event, had recorded more than RM110,000 in sales as of yesterday.
"This year, KUSKOP has been given one pavilion and we brought approximately 66 companies as well as cooperatives, and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to exhibit at MAHA 2026.
"As of now, we have also recorded an attendance of over 100,000 visitors over the past few days," he told reporters after officiating the HPMKUSKOP@MAHA 2026 site here today.
Also present was KUSKOP secretary-general Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud.
Sim described MAHA 2026 as a meaningful programme and congratulated and thanked the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, led by its minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu, for the successful organisation of the event.
MAHA 2026, themed Value Creation for Food Security, brings together about 2,000 exhibitors and targets more than four million visitors for this edition.
