MOSCOW, Aug 18 (Bernama-Sputnik/RIA Novosti) -- Two 5.1 and 5.5 magnitude earthquakes occurred near the Indonesian island of Sumbawa, the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) said on Tuesday, reported Sputnik/RIA Novosti.
The first 5.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 03:06 GMT 151 kilometres to the northwest of the West Nusa Tenggara province on Sumbawa. The second 5.5 magnitude earthquake occurred at 04:11 GMT also not far from Sumbawa, the BMKG said.
The first earthquake's source was at a depth of 491 kilometres, while the second occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.
There is no tsunami threat at the moment, the BMKG added.
