LOS ANGELES, Aug 17 (Bernama-dpa) -- United States (US) actress Hayden Panettiere, known for roles in Heroes, Nashville, and Scream 4 has died at the age of 36, German Press Agency (dpa) reported, citing US media and a statement from her father.
"It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her – and to the millions who watched her onscreen," her father, Skip Panettiere, said in a statement quoted by ABC News.
The circumstances surrounding her death were not immediately known.
Panettiere was previously engaged to former world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko, with whom she has a daughter.
