1.PREPARATION FOR  20TH FRANCOPHONIE SUMMIT UNDERWAY -- AGENCE KAMPUCHEA PRESSE 

Cambodia will host the 20th Francophonie Summit on Nov 15-16, bringing together leaders and representatives from about 90 French-speaking countries and institutions. Registration opened August 14 with the launch of the summit’s official website.

Cambodia has welcomed the appointment of Katrina Cooper as chair of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) Conciliation Commission, saying the move could help resolve maritime boundary differences.

Foreign nationals who enter or live in Vietnam can now apply for electronic identification accounts under a new government decree. Individuals and organisations do not need to submit documents if the required information is already available in the system.

 

2.FINANCIAL AID TO ROAD ACCIDENT VICTIMS -- VIETNAMPLUS

The Road Accident Damage Reduction Fund will provide financial support to accident victims and families of deceased victims facing financial hardship. The assistance will start on September 1.
