KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 (Bernama) -- Travellers using the National Integrated Immigration System (MyNIISe) QR code at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) will be given priority for immigration clearance to Singapore from today, particularly during peak hours.
In a Facebook post, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the facility is available at counters 9 and 10 of the Bus Departure Hall from 4.30 am to 8 am.
“For Malaysians who commute to Singapore daily through BSI, the morning rush can be challenging. Many leave as early as dawn, rushing to catch buses and reach work on time.
“With the MyNIISe QR system, we want to make immigration clearance faster and easier, while helping to ease congestion,” he said.
MyNIISe is one of the government’s key reform initiatives and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery.
