The governments of Indonesia and Thailand agreed to strengthen cooperation in the digital economy sector, including expanding the use of local currency transactions (LCT) in trade and investment.

Indonesia and Thailand have set a target to increase bilateral trade to US$20 billion by 2030 through strengthened strategic partnerships across the economic, energy, and agricultural sectors.

The Royal Forestry Department (RFD) on Monday expanded its crackdown on alleged forest encroachment in Phuket, targeting eight locations as part of the government's "Phuket Model" policy to reclaim illegally occupied land.
