KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 (Bernama) -- A total of 34,066 Malaysians aged 18 and above were automatically registered as new electors throughout the month of June.
Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus said the new registrations form part of the June 2026 Supplementary Electoral Roll (DPT BLN6/2026) certified on July 31 and gazetted today.
The supplementary roll also includes 32,148 registered electors who changed constituencies and 4,379 voters who changed their voting category or status.
Khairul Shahril said the roll will be open for public review from today until Sept 1.
“The EC urges all Malaysians who turned 18 between June 1 and 30, as well as registered electors who applied to change their constituency, voting category or status, to verify their details in the DPT BLN6/2026.
“If their names are not listed, they may submit a claim by completing Form C via the MySPR online application at https://myspr.spr.gov.my or by visiting the relevant State Election Office,” he said in a statement today.
The EC has provided five channels for checking the supplementary electoral roll: the EC portal (https://www.spr.gov.my or https://mysprsemak.spr.gov.my), the State Election Offices portal (http://ppn.spr.gov.my), the MySPR online app (https://myspr.spr.gov.my), the MySPR Semak mobile app, or the Voter Registration Hotline at 03-8892 7218.
Khairul Shahril said registered electors wishing to object to the transfer of another voter's registration into their constituency may submit Form D via the MySPR application or in person at the relevant State Election Office.
Completed forms must be submitted to the respective State Election Director together with the prescribed objection fee during office hours throughout the inspection period.
