JERUSALEM, July 10 (Bernama-WAFA) -- The Israeli occupation forces issued a one-week ban on Friday, preventing Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine and preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported that earlier on Friday, local sources told WAFA Israeli forces detained Sheikh Hussein after he concluded the Friday sermon and prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Following his detention, Israeli authorities handed Sheikh Hussein an order barring him from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound for one week.
