Johor Always A Priority For Federal Gov't - Ramanan

KLUANG, July 3 (Bernama) -- The Federal Government continues to place Johor among its top national priorities through the implementation of major investments and large-scale infrastructure projects aimed at improving the well-being of the people in the state.

PKR Vice-President Datuk Seri R Ramanan said the commitment includes the provision of various assistance programmes that have been and are being implemented to ensure every family in Johor benefits fairly from the country's development.

“Johor has always been one of the Federal Government's priorities. Various investments, infrastructure developments and assistance programmes for the people have been and continue to be implemented because we want to ensure that every family in the state enjoys the benefits of the nation's development,” he said while speaking at the Johor Ke Depan, Undi Harapan roadshow programme in Simpang Renggam here tonight.

PKR Vice-President Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, Amanah Secretary-General Faiz Fadzil, Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Machap state seat Nur Hafiz Roslan, PH candidate for Benut Abd Razak Ismail, and PH candidate for Layang-Layang Guna Balakrishnan were also present at the event.

Ramanan also urged Johor voters to give PH the mandate in the state election to ensure administrative alignment between the state and federal governments, thereby enabling development plans to be implemented smoothly.

A total of 172 candidates will contest the Johor state election, which will be held on July 11, while early voting scheduled for July 7.
