Tanla Announces Wisely Ai Impact Milestone With Indosat In Indonesia

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 9 (Bernama) -- Tanla Platforms Limited has announced a major impact milestone for Wisely Ai, its artificial intelligence (AI)-native platform, following an impact celebration event hosted by Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) in Indonesia.

“Wisely Ai is the first of its kind AI-native platform deployed at this scale. We are excited by the results Indosat is witnessing, which are driven by our AI technology, deep telco expertise, and close ecosystem collaboration.

“The success of customers like Indosat is translating into strong interest from other telcos across Southeast Asia and EMEA,” said Tanla Platforms Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Uday Reddy in a statement.

Meanwhile, Indosat President Director and CEO, Vikram Sinha said the collaboration enables the operator to deliver more proactive and adaptive protection for its customers.

“AI technology in our network helps filter threats before they can impact our customers,” he said.

At the event, Indosat showcased the real-world outcomes delivered by Wisely Ai within the first six months of deployment, including more than 11 billion communications analysed across 100 million users, over two billion spam and scam interactions identified, and an estimated US$500 billion in potential financial losses prevented. According to Tanla Platforms, Wisely Ai supports Indosat’s efforts to build a safer digital ecosystem, with more than 95 per cent of customers reporting that they feel better protected, alongside industry-leading customer experience scores based on independent market research.

Wisely Ai serves as a central platform powering multiple solutions at Indosat, including the operator’s anti-spam and anti-scam services deployed at both the network level and on mobile devices. The latest enhancements also extend protection coverage to voice over internet protocol (VoIP) channels, enabling proactive, real-time threat detection across communications services.

Tanla’s partnership with Indosat demonstrates how AI deployed at a national scale can help secure telecommunications networks in real time.
