PH-GRS Partnership Poised To Win Segama - Romansa

LAHAD DATU, Nov 22 (Bernama) -- The strong collaboration between Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) could strengthen their chances at capturing the Segama seat from the opposition in this state election, said PH candidate for the seat, Romansa Lamin.

He acknowledged that forging the collaboration was no easy task, but the openness of GRS supporters and leaders, along with a shared commitment to driving development in the area, enabled both sides to reach an agreement.

“Starting today, we are fostering close cooperation and moving in tandem with GRS grassroots leadership. We will continue to meet and discuss the progress of the campaign,” he said when met at the Segama state constituency meet the community leaders programme, here today.

GRS Lahad Datu division chief Datu Rajesh Mohd Yusof, as well as PH and GRS election machinery, attended the event.

Romansa, together with the campaign team and the heads of polling district centres, also held a discussion with Segama grassroots leaders.

“Our priority is to champion the welfare of the people, ensuring that Segama constituents enjoy a better and more secure life,” he said.

Romansa also emphasised that the PH-GRS alliance will continue until the conclusion of the state polls, with both parties coordinating efforts in Segama should they win the seat.
