KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 (Bernama) -- Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (Bank Muamalat) announced the winners of its Save2Win campaign at an event held in conjunction with the ‘Karnival Jom Heboh’ in Penang yesterday.
A customer from the Seri Manjung branch, Sajihan M.C. Mohamed, emerged as the grand prize winner for the half-year draw, taking home a Proton e-MAS 7 Prime along with several additional prizes, including travel vouchers and cash.
In a statement, Bank Muamalat said the Proton e-MAS 7 Prime was part of a total prize pool worth more than RM3.5 million under this year’s Save2Win campaign.
Among the other prizes presented during the ceremony were an iPhone 16 smartphone, travel vouchers worth RM10,000 and RM5,000 cash, it said.
Bank Muamalat president and chief executive officer Datuk Khairul Kamarudin said the Save2Win campaign is among the bank’s initiatives to promote a savings culture while rewarding loyal customers.
“We greatly appreciate their support, and our participation in Karnival Jom Heboh provided an opportunity for us to engage with the community and introduce Bank Muamalat’s products more widely,” he said.
Khairul said Bank Muamalat customers still have two months to increase their savings and stand a chance to win the grand prize of a luxury condominium and other attractive prizes that will be announced during the final draw in January.
In efforts to strengthen the social entrepreneurship ecosystem, he said Bank Muamalat also featured an entrepreneur under its iTEKAD Bank Muamalat programme, Poko Cafe, at the carnival.
“The iTEKAD Bank Muamalat programme not only provides microfinancing assistance, but also creates opportunities for marketing and capacity development.
“The participation of iTEKAD entrepreneur Poko Cafe demonstrates the strong potential of local social entrepreneurs, and we hope it will serve as a platform to promote their brand to visitors at the Bank Muamalat booth,” he said.
