TXA & RSC 2025: Driving Innovation And Safety In Regional Mobility

07/11/2025 06:36 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7 (Bernama) -- The regional transport and logistics platform, Transport Expo Asia (TXA) 2025, scheduled for Nov 11-13, will feature more than 100 companies from eight countries, comprising Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Poland, the United States and Singapore.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the event reflects international confidence in Malaysia’s potential as a regional mobility hub.

He said the expo is expected to attract over 3,000 trade visitors, 1,000 conference delegates and 230 VIP guests from both local and international circles.

Key exhibitors include ANSA Digital, Batik Air Malaysia, CRRC Corporation Ltd, Dhaya Maju Infrastructure (Asia), East Coast Rail Link, Gamuda, Grab Holdings, Mass Rapid Transit, MRCB, MMC Port Holdings, Railway Assets Corporation, and Technology Depository Agency (TDA).

Loke said TXA is not just an exhibition but a strategic platform to showcase innovation, drive investment and shape sustainable national transport policies.

He said the expo will be held at the Sama-Sama Hotel, KLIA, and will include demonstrations such as a Drone Cage by Futurise, electric buses by eMoovit and Guided Rapid Transit (GRT) by SMH Rail.

The event, themed Future On The Move: Digital, Sustainable Transport, Agile Logistics & ESG-Driven Supply Chains, focuses on digitalisation, environmental sustainability, as well as environmental, social and governance (ESG)-based logistics efficiency.

“Malaysia is entering a phase of transport transformation emphasising green technology, electrification and smart automation, and TXA provides a platform for government, industry and society to collaborate in achieving low-carbon, resilient mobility,” he said.

He added that the goal is for Malaysia’s future transport system to be efficient, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable.

He said the event is expected to foster regional strategic partnerships, strengthen road safety policies and accelerate digital mobility transformation, while attracting new technology investment.

Outcomes from TXA discussions and forums will be channelled to the ministry for policy actions to translate insights into real projects and local capacity development.

In conjunction with TXA, the Road Safety Congress (RSC) 2025, organised by MIROS, will be held simultaneously to stress that innovation and safety must go hand in hand.

Loke said TXA focuses on technology, industry and investment, while RSC focuses on policy research and cultivating road safety culture.

He added that both events support Malaysia’s aspiration to be a leader in green and low-carbon transport, including renewable energy, smart energy management and ESG practices in logistics and public transport.

The Ministry of Transport will also promote the implementation of the Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint, which aims to reduce carbon emissions through the use of electric vehicles, smart rail systems and integrated logistics networks.

The ministry has invited students, professionals, entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts to witness future transport technologies, with registration available at www.txa.my and free admission.
