Prime Minister Hun Manet thanked Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as ASEAN Chair, for resolving the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict. Both neighbours signed the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord on October 26 during the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.

Russia assured Cambodia of its continuous support as both nations will mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year. Russia will continue to cooperate in trade, economy, vaccine production, agriculture and energy security.

1.KPK OPENS GRAFT PROBE INTO WHOOSH -- THE JAKARTA POST
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has announced an investigation against alleged graft pertaining to the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway (HSR) Whoosh, which has recently been in hot water over the debt incurred by the infrastructure project.
The case is currently in the preliminary investigation stage, according to KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo.
2.PURBAYA WARNS 1 PCT VAT CUT WOULD WIPE OUT RP 70 TLN IN STATE REVENUE -- JAKARTA GLOBE
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa signalled on Tuesday that the government is unlikely to reduce the value-added tax (VAT) rate, warning that each percentage-point cut could cost the state as much as Rp 70 trillion (US$4.2 billion) in potential revenue.
The government raised the VAT rate by one point to 11 per cent last year.

1. PHILIPPINES' MARCOS: CORRUPTION ISSUES WILL NOT HAMPER ASEAN 2026 HOSTING

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Tuesday said corruption issues hounding the Philippines will not hamper the country’s preparations for hosting the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Summits in 2026.
In a media interview in Kuala Lumpur, Marcos said domestic concerns, such as the alleged anomalies in flood control projects, have no bearing on the Philippines’ ASEAN chairmanship next year.
