KUCHING, Sept 23 (Bernama) -- Unifi Business has recently launched its IMPAK BIZ campaign to help empower the digitalisation of Malaysia’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as well as marking a significant step in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem and driving business innovation.

IMPAK BIZ’s launch ceremony on Aug 19, 2025, in Kuching was officiated by Deputy Minister of Digital Datuk Wilson Ugak Kumbong, in the presence of Unifi chief commercial officer of consumer strategy and business Shanti Jusnita Johari, Unifi Business vice-president Dr Mohamad Yusman Ammeran and CTOS Data Systems Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Lee Shin Mei.

Unifi Business said IMPAK BIZ is a nationwide campaign designed to help MSMEs assess and understand their business digitalisation level, as well as provide recommendation tools to help digitalise their business further. Additionally, Unifi Business offers premium digitalisation support.

“The campaign, which runs from Aug 18 to Dec 31, 2025, is aimed at encouraging MSMEs to embrace digitalisation to expand market reach, strengthen financial literacy to improve access to financing, and foster collaboration between entrepreneurs, service providers and financial institutions to build a sustainable business ecosystem,” Unifi Business said.

As part of the campaign, participating MSMEs can utilise a free digital readiness evaluation tool, consisting of not more than 20 questions, to assess their current level of digital maturity. The tool is accessible at https://biz.unifi.com.my/impakbiz.

Based on the outcome of the evaluation, the MSMEs will receive recommendations on solutions to address business gaps and improve efficiency. Upon completion of the evaluation, MSMEs will also unlock premium digitalisation support from Unifi Business partners to further strengthen their growth potential.

The initiative is supported by strategic partners including the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), SME Corp Malaysia, CTOS, Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) and Maybank Islamic Berhad.

It is also backed by Astro Awani as the media partner, IPSOS as the research partner, and RTIST as the solutions partner.

“MSMEs using IMPAK BIZ will gain access to preferential microfinancing from BSN at competitive rates starting at 3.5 per cent per annum with simplified documentation, complimentary halal certification support in collaboration with Maybank Islamic, and free CTOS Business Reports to strengthen financial credibility and decision-making,” Unifi Business added.

MSMEs will also benefit from creative and marketing services from RTIST talents, personalised consultations with Unifi Business’ Certified Digital Consultants, and automatic entry into the IMPAK BIZ Awards, which provide national-level recognition and exposure.

Unifi Business said IMPAK BIZ is designed to support MSMEs nationwide and position them for sustainable growth, while contributing to Malaysia’s broader goal of building a competitive and sustainable economy, in line with its brand promise as “Your Preferred Digital Partner”.
