LTTS Launches PLxAI To Transform Product Development with GenAI

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 (Bernama) -- L&T Technology Services Ltd (LTTS) has launched PLxAI, a proprietary generative artificial intelligence (GenAI)-based framework designed to accelerate the product development life cycle (PDLC) for its global clients across mobility, sustainability and technology.

PLxAI combines GenAI and conventional AI to deliver scalable and reusable solutions across all PDLC stages, ranging from concept design to aftermarket support, according to the company in a statement.

Developed by PDLC subject matter experts, the framework captures and leverages organisational and tribal knowledge to provide context-aware insights that enhance and optimise product engineering.

LTTS President and Executive Director of Mobility and Tech, Alind Saxena said the development of PLxAI highlights the company’s engineering and technology capabilities and commitment to client success.

“This is a proud milestone for Team LTTS. The enthusiasm from our global clients has been remarkable, with deployments already underway across multiple domains,” he said.

PLxAI integrates smart prompting and contextual intelligence, enabling improvements from concept and design through validation and aftermarket support. To date, the LTTS team has deployed more than 36 use cases at various life cycle stages, with another 35 currently in the design phase.

Use cases include an innovation assistant for technology scouting, design assistants for specifications and calculations, automated creation of validation plans and DFMEA templates, and failure mode analysis tools customised with organisational templates.

The framework also supports digital twin integration and agentic workflows to automate multi-step engineering tasks.
