SINGAPORE, July 3 (Bernama) -- Singapore Airlines’ low-cost carrier, Scoot, will operate twice-weekly flights to Kota Bharu, Kelantan, from Oct 26 using the Embraer E190-E2 aircraft, with one-way economy class fares starting from S$78 (S$1=RM3.3154).
In a statement today, the airline also announced the launch of new flight services to Da Nang and Nha Trang in Vietnam.
Scoot will operate thrice-weekly flights to Da Nang from Oct 20, progressively increasing to daily flights by December, with one-way economy class fares starting from S$115.
Meanwhile, the airline will commence twice-weekly flights to Nha Trang from Nov 21, increasing progressively to five times weekly by January 2026, with one-way economy class fares starting from S$135.
The new flights will be available for booking from today via Scoot’s website, mobile application, and progressively through other channels.
“With the launch of services to Kota Bharu, Da Nang and Nha Trang, Scoot will operate 115 weekly flights to 12 cities in Malaysia and 44 weekly flights to five cities in Vietnam,” it said.
Subject to regulatory approvals, Scoot will also launch services to Medan and Labuan Bajo in Indonesia as well as Okinawa in Japan during the Northern Winter 2025 season.
In addition to the new destinations, Scoot will also make adjustments to its network from July 2025, in anticipation of increased demand for air travel.
These include services to Clark, Davao, and Manila in the Philippines; Jakarta in Indonesia; Hat Yai in Thailand; and Perth in Australia.
Scoot said limited-time promotional fares to selected destinations will be available on its website and mobile application from July 8 to 13.
Scoot chief executive officer Leslie Thng said the airline would continue to seek new opportunities for growth and expand its regional footprint.
“We are excited to broaden Scoot’s network with these new destinations. At the same time, the increased flight frequencies to certain cities in the upcoming months leading up to the year-end holiday season will support higher demand,” he added.
