JERUSALEM/ISTANBUL, June 26 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- A majority of Israelis support ending the war in Gaza and reaching a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas, Anadolu Ajansi (AA) reported, citing a new poll published on Wednesday by Israeli news portal Walla.
The survey, conducted in collaboration with the private research institute Panel4All, sampled 583 respondents with a margin of error of 4.3 per cent.
Citing the poll, Walla said 67 per cent of Israelis back a move to cease hostilities in Gaza and secure the release of hostages held by Hamas.
The death toll in Gaza has risen to 56,077, with 131,848 injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Oct 7, 2023, according to international media reports.
