MAKKAH, June 2 (Bernama-SPA) -- Islamic leaders from across the globe have praised Saudi Arabia’s leadership for its dedicated efforts in ensuring the well-being of pilgrims through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Programme for Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The programme, which is overseen by the Kingdom’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, provides comprehensive care and hospitality to pilgrims from various continents, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to facilitating a smooth and spiritually enriching pilgrimage experience.
In Lisbon, Portugal, the Islamic Society Director, Dr Muhammad Iqbal, commended the Kingdom’s commitment to serving pilgrims, stating that the exceptional services and attention provided showcase its unwavering dedication to Islam’s message and the Two Holy Mosques. He also praised the high level of organisation and facilities in Makkah.
Uruguay’s Islamic Centre Director, Ali Ahmed Mannan, commended Saudi Arabia for nurturing religious and cultural ties among Muslims worldwide through warm hospitality and meticulous arrangements.
In Nepal, the Head of the Central Ahl-e-Hadith Association’s Union, Mohammed Abdul Azeem, highlighted the Kingdom’s educational initiatives, which offer awareness programmes and lessons in various languages to help pilgrims perform rituals confidently.
