HEXZA CORPORATION BHD has appointed Cheong Peng Yip as its new chief executive officer with effect Nov 1, 2021.

M3 TECHNOLOGIES (ASIA) BHD is proposing to change its name to XOX Technology Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, it said the proposed name was approved and reserved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia for a period of 30 days from Aug 17 to Sept 15 and subsequently extended to Nov 15, 2021.
“The proposal is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company at the forthcoming extraordinary general meeting to be convened at a date to be announced later and a circular to shareholders with details of the proposed change of name will be issued to the shareholders in due course,” it added.

INARI AMERTRON BHD has entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with China Fortune-Tech Capital Co Ltd (CFTC) with the intention to set up a joint-venture company in China (CJV) to carry out outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) manufacturing and related businesses in the republic for the local market.
“The MoU will bring together the strengths of both parties and leveraging each other’s expertise through knowledge transfer from Inari to the CJV, while Inari will draw from CFTC’s local leadership and guidance in the operation of the CJV and its plants,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
The CJV will carry out OSAT manufacturing business in China primarily for the Chinese market and the CJV will focus exclusively on the China market and can only provide OSAT services within China under the proposed JV, it added.

SEACERA GROUP BHD has submitted an application for a waiver to Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd after it became an affected listed issuer as it has triggered the criteria prescribed under Paragraph 8.04 and Paragraph 2.1(d) of PN17 of the Listing Requirements (LR) of Bursa Securities.
In a filing with the exchange, Seacera said it had applied for the waiver from the requirements to submit and implement a regularisation plan pursuant to Paragraph 8.04(3) and PN17 of the LR.
“The company has also applied to uplift the designation of the company as PN17 Issuer and to seek approval from Bursa Securities for a further extension of time of nine months until July 24, 2022, to submit its regularisation plan as the earlier extension will expire on Oct 25, 2021.
