CTOS DATA SYSTEMS SDN BHD is partnering with Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd to raise financial literacy awareness amongst Senheng Electric’s 2.9 million PlusOne loyalty members.
In a statement today, it said the partnership would encourage customers to take advantage of the ongoing free MyCTOS report with Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS) offered by CTOS Data Systems to enable and empower Malaysian consumers to take charge of their financial health.
It said details of the free report would be available on all Senheng Electric platforms and the partnership with CTOS Data Systems would run in conjunction with the current CTOS Cares initiative, which has been extended until August 31.

AGRO BANK, in collaboration with several small and medium entrepreneurs, is allocating a total contribution of RM100,000 to 1,600 recipients nationwide through the “Agrobank and Community” initiative that aimed to help communities affected and in need of assistance and support in terms of basic food needs due to the hardship suffered during a COVID-19 pandemic.
“A total of 7,000 Agrobank’s corporate and exclusive souvenirs with a total value of RM43,000 were also distributed to vaccine recipients at five vaccination centres in the Klang Valley throughout July 2021,” it said in a statement today.

AMINVEST has secured three pole positions in Malaysia at the Alpha Southeast Asia 12th Annual Fund Management Awards 2021, including the Best Overall Asset and Fund Manager, Malaysia for the fourth consecutive year.
In a statement today, the fund manager said it also bagged the Best Asset Manager (Fixed Income), Malaysia for the second consecutive year and Best Fund with the Optimal Information Ratio, Malaysia.
It said the awards acknowledge AmInvest as a leading multi-asset fund management company that, among others, provided solid and transparent investment processes, secured risk management, proper investment accounting systems, quality investment research and advanced portfolio management and diversification.

MBSB BANK has contributed 3,600 digital devices worth RM5 million to 19 schools nationwide to ensure students from lower income families received proper learning tools as the nation continued with home learning.
In a statement today, it said the contribution, which comprised of laptops, dongles and SIM cards, were made through CERDIK, a pilot initiative jointly spearheaded by the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and Yayasan Hasanah that aimed to facilitate digital access through the provisioning of mobile devices and data connectivity.
