The global market research company recently released a report on the ‘Top 10 Global Consumer Trends 2020’, identifying the most influential trends shaping consumer behaviour, shopping habits and purchasing decisions.
Coming second in consumer preference is Catch Me in Seconds, seeking quick, concise and multisensory content for instant gratification, followed by Frictionless Mobility, choosing transportation methods based on individual preferences for a seamless travel journey.
Other trends are Inclusive for All; Minding Myself; Multifunctional Homes; Private Personalisation; Proudly Local, Going Global; Reuse Revolutionaries; and, We Want Clean Air Everywhere.
“Convenience and personal control are the core themes connecting these trends in 2020. Consumers are putting themselves first as they look for ways to simplify their lives,” said Euromonitor International consumer trends director, Gina Westbrook.
