KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 -- Perdana Petroleum Bhd shares were actively traded in the morning session today after the offshore marine services provider secured two work orders from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for provision of two anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessels worth RM36 million.
At 11.37 am, Perdana Petroleum’s share rose two sen to 37.5 sen with 16.79 million shares traded.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Perdana Petroleum said the contract was received by its wholly-owned unit, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB).
“PNSB shall provide the AHTS vessels with crews and equipment to perform 24-hour services for assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installation, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs,” it said.
