KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 -- Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo has lauded Bernama over changes introduced in its Bernama TV and Bernama Radio services.
“Well done! Technology has had a great impact on and will keep changing the media world. We must keep up with the times and rise to the challenge," he said on Twitter.
“Carry on with the good work and push ahead with reforms and new ideas,” the minister said.
Gobind was replying to a tweet by Bernama consultant for broadcast, Suhaimi Sulaiman who tweeted that Bernama TV has introduced 12 new programmes since Oct 15, 2019.
"We have a new look and feel. Next, 12 more new programmes by end of this month," he said.
Suhaimi went on to say that Bernama Radio is on its way to become what he described as the best "Stesen Berita Bisnes Anda” - focusing on small and medium enterprises (SME).
Bernama TV, which offers round-the-clock news coverage, is aired over Astro 502, Unifi TV (631), MYTV (121) and Iflix.
Bernama Radio can be heard on the following frequencies: FM93.9 (Kuala Lumpur), FM107.5 (Johor Baru), FM100.9 (Kuching) and FM 107.9 (Kota Kinabalu).
