Marquez takes Moto2 pole position

SEPANG, Nov 2 -- Team EG 0,0 VDS rider Alex Marquez of Spain will start from pole position tomorrow, after posting the fastest time in the Moto2 class qualifying at the 2019 Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) at the Sepang Circuit today.

The younger brother of MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez clocked two minutes 05.244 seconds.

Japanese Tetsuta Nagashima of ONEXOX TKKR SAG Team and South African Brad Binder of Red Bull KTM Ajo took second and third positions after clocking 2:05.395s and 2:05.559s respectively.

Malaysia's Adam Norrodin of Petronas Sprinta Racing will start from 31st place in the starting grid after posting 2:07.851s.
