KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 (Bernama) -- The guessing game over which team MotoGP rider Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah will join is likely to be resolved after he finishes the races in the Czech Republic this weekend and Austria from Aug 9-11.
Hafizh Syahrin said he wanted to focus on the two races following a three-week break before making any decision on his future with the Red Bull KTM Tech 3 team.
"For now, I can't say anything yet because I need to give some time to myself as well as my sponsors as I am still having discussions.
"Maybe after the next two races, we will know what my decision is, on where I'm going," he told reporters after the launch of the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) and FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) on Monday.
Hafizh's future came into question after his team, Red Bull KTM Tech 3, signed a contract with South African rider Brad Binder, to replace the 25-year-old next season.
The rider, who is known by the nickname 'El Pescao' (little fish), had previously struggled with mechanical problems that affected his performance in the first race of the World Motorcycle Championship (MotoGP) at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar in March.
