KOTA BHARU, July 19 (Bernama) -- Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Football Club’s (UKM FC) current good form is worrisome for Kelantan, as it looks to win its final Premier League match against the visiting squad at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium on Saturday night.
Kelantan head coach Yusri Che Lah said winning the match was important for The Red Warriors, as it would determine whether they would remain in the league or be relegated to the third division (M-3) next season.
"I feel that tomorrow's match is not an easy one for my players to win, but we really need it to remain in the Premier League.
"UKM FC won with a big margin in their previous match, and I'm sure they will not be coming here tomorrow with their reserve players, as they also want to strengthen their league position," he said when contacted by Bernama here, today.
However, Yusri said he had advised his men to remain focused throughout the 90 minutes despite the pressure.
Kelantan is currently ranked second last in the league after collecting 13 points from three wins, four draws and 12 defeats in 19 matches.
