King Salman to host 1,300 pilgrims from 72 countries around the world

RIYADH, July 17 (Bernama) -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will host 1,300 pilgrims from around the world to perform Hajj for the year 1440AH as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Hajj Programme, reported Saudi Press Agency.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, the General Supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said this blessed directive is an evidence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince’s efforts in taking care of the interests of Muslims around the world.
He pointed out that the total beneficiaries of this programme since its inauguration in 1417AH, to date reached (52,747) pilgrims from different countries of the world.
Sheikh Dr Abdullatif extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their keenness to serve Islam and Muslims.
