The trip will explore several districts in Sabah to promote and publicise the agro-food and agriculture industry in the state.

“Apart from that, it will also be a pre-publicity platform for the 2019 National Farmers, Breeders and Fishermen's Day (HPPNK2019) and the 2020 International Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Exhibition,” the statement said today.

Among the locations involved are the dairy cattle project at the Desa Cattle Dairy Farm in Kundasang, Ranau, paddy planting project in Kampung Tambatuon, Kota Belud and the aquaculture shrimp project by Sunlight Inno Seafood in Pitas.

The participants will also be exploring the stingray fish landing project at Kota Marudu, Datuk Yap Yun Fook plantation project in Keningau and boat transformation project by Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia in Kuala Penyu.
