KYPJ to become Universiti Johor in 2021

KOTA TINGGI, July 2 (Bernama) -- Kolej Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (KYPJ), a wholly-owned educational institution of the Johor government, is set to become Universiti Johor in 2021.

Kumpulan Pendidikan Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (YPJ) chief executive officer Shahrim Adon today said the college was in the midst of undertaking various improvements and upgrades from all aspects, as part of its vision to become a complete university within the next two years.

The preparations for the institution's transformation included the development of a five-year strategic plan ending in 2023, which would include planning in reference to financial management, human resources, administration and resource mobilisation.

He was speaking at an Aidilfitri celebration held at the college's campus in Jalan Kulai-Kota Tinggi here.

Also present was state Education, Human Resources, Science and Technology Committee chairman Aminolhuda Hassan.
