5.4-magnitude earthquake hit Banda Sea

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 27 (Bernama) -- An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale shook Banda Sea, Indonesia, at 1.07 am today.
According to the Meteorological Department’s statement, the earthquake occurred at the depth of 104km and 408 km southeast of Ambon.
It did not pose any tsunami threat to Malaysia.
